National Telehealth Conference: Clinical Excellence Continues

CPN hosted the Eighth
Annual National Telehealth Conference September 22 and 23 at the Hilton Hotel
MSP Airport in Bloomington, MN. Over 100 people participated in the two-day
medical conference focused emergent, urgent, and telephone care. The two-day
format offered up to 16.2 contact hours of continuing education credits for
nurses.
Among the highlights was
the Friday “Lunch with a Speaker” that enabled all attendees to converse in a
small group setting with a selected conference presenter. Among the featured
nationally known presenters were Barton D. Schmitt, MD, the “father of pediatric
telephone guidelines,” and David Thompson, MD, adult guidelines author.
