AnswerStat Guest Editorial Submission Guidelines
Official
sponsors of
AnswerStat
magazine are invited to submit a guest editorial
for publication in 2012. These guidelines are to help sponsors to
submit a compelling and interesting editorial.
General Guidelines: The editorial should be relevant to healthcare
call centers; it can be an opinion, a commentary, an observation, or a
prediction. This is not the place for self-promotion or marketing
pitches. The ideal length is 500 to 600 words, including a brief
author bio. Longer articles will be edited for length. Your editorial will appear
on the page following Peter DeHaan's Vital Signs column.
Editing: Submissions will be edited
for style, grammar, organization, syntax, and clarity; additional
text could be added. This is at the sole discretion of AnswerStat
magazine and should not be taken personally; it is a reality of
publishing. When editing, we will act in good faith to preserve your
intended message; it is not practical to notify authors of edits.
Website: Once published in AnswerStat
magazine, your editorial will also be added to the AnswerStat magazine
website.
Submission: Submit your editorial via email, attached as a Microsoft Word
document. Email all submissions to
peter@answerstat.com. A high-resolution author photo should be included.
Deadlines: Refer to our
submission deadlines for the latest that
it can be submitted. However, we request that your editorial be
submitted one week prior to the deadline.
Editorial Policy: Authors who submit
content to AnswerStat magazine agree to the following:
-
Edits will be made at the discretion of AnswerStat
magazine regarding length, style, grammar, organization,
syntax, and clarity.
-
Publication is at
the sole discretion of AnswerStat magazine.
-
By submitting your
work, you grant AnswerStat and Peter DeHaan Publishing Inc full, yet
non-exclusive, rights to publish your submission in any printed and/or
electronic form both now and in the future.
-
Acceptance of these terms is a precondition
of publication by AnswerStat magazine.
