Guidelines
A feature of
AnswerStat
magazine is our Vendor Spotlight, which allows us to provide
additional coverage for our sponsors. Spotlight articles are included as
part of our AnswerStat sponsorship packages;
for all others, the cost is only $1,995.
This document is provided so that you can write a compelling and effective
piece.
Overview:
Each issue of AnswerStat magazine
can include a Spotlight on one of our sponsors.
These articles will also be put on the AnswerStat Website.
The focus on the Spotlight can be a company profile, product review, or
customer case study.
General Guidelines:
Your vendor promotion should be
written in a third person style, from the perspective of an outside person
reporting on your organization. The length may be up to 1,200 words.
Copy:
It should read like a news report. This is not
the place for self-promotion, hype, or spin. Doing so will hurt the piece's
credibility. Unlike articles and, to a lesser
extent, press releases, you may mention your company
name and/or product names in the copy.
Editing:
All submissions will be edited for content and
length at the sole discretion of AnswerStat.
It is not practical for edits to be reviewed by your company prior to
publication.
Non-writers:
If you do not have the staff or the time to write your Spotlight
article, we can have a professional writer who, for a fee, will interview you
and write your Spotlight.
Website:
Your Spotlight will be included in the AnswerStat
Website, where it is intended to
be a "living" document and can be updated as needed.
Submission:
All vendor promotions must be submitted
via email, attached as a plain text file or Microsoft Word document. Mailed
and faxed submissions will not be considered. Email all submissions to
dehaan@answerstat.com.
