Peter DeHaan Publishing Named a Constant Contact 2010 All-Star
(April 2011)
Peter DeHaan Publishing Inc, publisher of AnswerStat
magazine and an information provider, has received the 2010 All Star Award from
Constant Contact®, Inc., the trusted marketing advisor to more than 400,000
small organizations worldwide. Peter DeHaan Publishing Inc is one of Constant
Contact’s 2010 top performers and most prolific user of its email marketing
product.
“We are ecstatic to have been recognized as an email marketing
all-star,” stated Peter DeHaan, president of Peter DeHaan Publishing and
publisher of AnswerStat magazine. “We diligently strive to follow
industry best practices and to ensure that our email messages are relevant,
valuable, and appreciated. We also work hard to reduce our bounce rate and
increase our open and click rates. Constant Contact has seen those efforts and
rewarded us as a result.”
Peter DeHaan Publishing, which also publishes Connections
Magazine, Medical Call Center News, and TAS Trader, makes
extensive use of email to connect with readers and disseminate information.
“According to Constant Contact statistics, our bounce rate is
about half that of other publications,” noted DeHaan. “Plus, our open rate is
50 percent higher, and our click through rate is 32 percent better.”
Follow
AnswerStat magazine on Twitter
(December 2010)
AnswerStat
is now
tweeting! Find us at
twitter.com/answerstatmag. “Our Twitter account is an extension of our
newsfeed and Facebook pages, providing a Twitter-sized summary of what has been
posted on these two resources,” stated Peter DeHaan, publisher of
AnswerStat
magazine.
“Often our tweets are a relevant news headline, followed by the actual URL.”
DeHaan added
that “tiny URLs” will not be used in
AnswerStat’s
tweets, but will instead the actual Web address. This is because many people
are rightfully wary of these space-saving shortcuts, since the destination
website is obscured to the user. “We want AnswerStat readers to be
assured that the link they click on is a safe one,” he added.
In addition to
Twitter,
AnswerStat
magazine
is
also on
Facebook and has a newsfeed (newsfeed.answerstat.com).
The newsfeed and Twitter users have the option of receiving updates via an RSS
feed or email.

AnswerStat Launches Industry-Exclusive News and Information Feed (June
2008)
In
order to better serve readers and provide an additional means of communication,
AnswerStat magazine has launched an industry-specific news and
information feed. Configured much like a typical blog, the newsfeed will
provide updates and information to AnswerStat magazine's audience.
Information will include notices of when new information or sections have been
added to the AnswerStat website, exclusive online articles, guest
editorials, and selected breaking news. Of specific importance are notices each
time a new issue of AnswerStat magazine is available online for reading,
viewing, or printing. Typically, each issue is added online a week or more
before the mailed version is received.
There are three ways of accessing information from the newsfeed. First, it can
be checked manually. Alternately, readers may sign up to be notified via email
of all new information - the goal is no more than one notification per week.
Lastly, there is an option for Aton and RSS newsfeeds. All three may be
accessed at
http://newsfeed.answerstat.com/. There is also a link to the newsfeed on
the AnswerStat magazine website under "Info/Resources."

Sponsorship
Update
(February 2008)
Peter DeHaan
Launches Blog
(February 2008)
Peter
DeHaan, publisher of AnswerStat magazine, Connections Magazine,
and the website, ArticleWeekly.com, launched a blog on January 1, simply
entitled, "The Musings of Peter DeHaan."
"I had been considering a blog
for a couple of years," DeHaan stated. "The feedback that I receive on my
articles and editorials is both affirming and encouraging. My main concern was
wondering if I would have enough worthwhile topics to write about in a blog.
Eventually, I concluded that this was not an issue - and the blog was launched!"
The blog will be similar in scope
and tone to Peter's "Vital Signs" column on page 7 of this magazine. As such,
it will serve as a general purpose repository of his thoughts and observations,
covering an array of subjects from the personal to the public and everywhere in
between.

New Postal Rates Hits
AnswerStat with a 43 Percent Increase (August 2007)
The new USPS rates hit
AnswerStat magazine hard, with a 43 percent increase. To address this,
AnswerStat is carefully scrutinizing each copy that is mailed. Every
deserving, qualified person should continue to receive a copy. However, a
diligent quest is underway to identify and remove duplicate and obsolete
mailings.
-
Let AnswerStat know of
extra copies that your organization no longer needs.
-
If the address label contains
incorrect information, please update it.
-
If you are personally receiving
multiple copies at different locations, please wean yourself down to one
copy and cancel the rest.
-
Check your mailing label. If
it says "Please Renew," AnswerStat magazine definitely needs
to hear from you if your subscription is to continue.

2006)
AnswerStat
magazine has
expanded its website by adding a
vendor literature section. Advertisers in
AnswerStat magazine have

the teleservices and outsourcing call center industry.
Their information is provided for the benefit and education of our
readers and website visitors. For
easy viewing and printing, the literature is formatted as PDF files.

from it's inception there has been international interest.

New
Article Website Launched
(February 2006)
Peter DeHaan Publishing,
Inc, publisher of AnswerStat magazine
and Connections Magazine, launched a
new website, "Article
Weekly," featuring articles of a more general
nature that have widespread application and appeal.
"Each month we receive many excellent articles that we can't fit into
our print magazines," stated the website's creator, Peter DeHaan.
"Sometimes, we just don't have enough room and other times the
content, which is valuable and well-written, is broader than the specific focus
of our magazines. Developing a
website to showcase this work seemed to be an excellent solution."
The article website contains over 1,000 articles, with new articles being added weekly.
Topics include: Business, Communications, Customer Service, Humor,
Leadership, Legal, Internet, Management, Marketing, Sales, and Self-Improvement.
Several of the articles have been written by authors whose work has
appeared in AnswerStat magazine and Connections
Magazine.
