Scheduling Software: Scheduling
software in a call center allows agents to schedule callers to attend events or
to make appointments. The software
will track an inventory of available time slots for an appointment or available
seats for an event, allowing agents to book that inventory and assign it to a
caller. Other caller data can be
received and included with the schedule. Often
there is a self-serve module for people to do their own schedules without
talking to an agent. Once scheduled,
confirmation and reminders can be sent to the customers.
