1Call Introduces Cloud-Based On-Call Scheduling and Messaging

1Call, a division of AmtelcoThe 1Call Division of Amtelco announced a new subscription-based miOnCall on call scheduling solution.  It is a powerful, flexible, and secure cloud-based on call scheduling application that makes it easy to assign schedule coverage, view schedule coverage, and dispatch messages.  The miOnCall schedules are available to physicians and staff via Web access, can be synched with Outlook® calendars, and accessed with Amtelco’s miOnCall App, available on the Apple® iTunes® store for the iPhone®, iPad™, and iPod touch®.

The software utilizes many of the same innovative features found in Infinity on-call scheduling, such as permission levels for users and administrators, custom shift and role functionality, and multiple viewing options.  In addition, the miOnCall set-up wizard and online help features make it easy for administrators to quickly set up their schedules.

The 1Call Division of Amtelco also introduced miSecureMessages, a new subscription-based cloud application that pushes encrypted messages to mobile devices using security protection, which is vital to maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI), ensuring that healthcare organizations meet HIPAA and HITECH regulations.

The software sends encrypted messages to BlackBerry®, iPhone, iPad, and Android™ mobile devices and provides encrypted message delivery receipts (indicating that the mobile device has received the message), encrypted message read receipts (indicating that the recipient has opened the message), and allows the recipient to reply to a received message with an encrypted message.
