Sixth Annual 1Call Leadership Conference and Training Seminar



The Sixth Annual 1Call Leadership Conference and Training Seminar will be held September 18-20, 2012, at The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club, located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The seminar covers topics for both management and operational staff. A number of information-packed sessions are scheduled, including:

  • Automating hospital bed management and patient flow
  • Using redundancy to keep your call center prepared for anything
  • Integrating IS applications with EMR
  • Turning patient no-shows into a hospital-wide benefit
  • Introduction to soft agent
  • Supervising and motivating staff
  • Advanced scripting and code-call scripting
  • Roundtable discussions

Several joint sessions are planned for the entire group, along with separate sessions for operational staff and management topics presented by guest speakers from healthcare organizations.

In other news, Amtelco recently exhibited at the Avaya IAUG Conference, held May 20-23 in Boston, and at Cisco Live 2012, held June 10-14 in San Diego. Amtelco is an Avaya DevConnect Technology Partner and a Cisco Registered Developer Partner.

Amtelco presented a number of software solutions for IAUG and Cisco Live attendees, including the SIP-based soft agent intelligent console. According to Kevin Beale, Amtelco’s vice president research & development, software, “IAUG and Cisco Live attendees were very impressed with Amtelco’s Sandbox-driven call flows, which help agents quickly and accurately complete calls. Attendees saw how they could easily streamline communications throughout their enterprises, directly improving their bottom line.”
